Operating Principles
|
The operating system
uses proven, time honored techniques of screening sand in a unique and
effective way:
|
 |
 |
A digger point introduces
sand and trash onto oscillating sifting screens.
|
| The sand is sifted through the screens,
while the separated material is elevated by overhead flights into an easy
dump hopper. |

Controls of the system are
infinitely
variable,allowing easy control of:
-
digging depth
-
conveyor speed
-
oscillator frequency
... and thus enabling the operator to easily
handle typical situations such as wet, dry, coarse, or fine sand, rocks,
tideline trash, and shallow water weeds.
Important principles:
-
Self-propelled - no tow vehicle needed.
-
Exceptional maneuverability ("0" turn radius).
-
Easily interchangeable sifting screens - coarse
to fine.
-
Less ground impact due to only three wheels.
-
Open front design (no mold board) allows wide
range of materials to pass over the screen.
-
Separation achieved via sifting /screening
process.
-
Diesel powered hydrostatic drive, protected
throughout by relief valves.
